If you love television, do we have a Web site for you.  EmmyTVLegends.org, created by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Foundation, launched this week in advance of Sunday’s Emmy Awards. It’s a TV historian’s gold mine. Some 600 interviews — with performers, directors, writers, cinematographers and executives — have been taped for more than a decade by volunteers, including scholars and industry members. So far, about 200 have been posted at the site.

“We really want television fans, and people who have great memories of television they watched growing up, to have fun, to dive in and discover things about the people they grew up with,” Terri Clark, foundation executive director, said.

The Web site is intended to serve those seeking a career in entertainment as well as the public, said archive director Karen L. Herman

continuehumans Institute for Human Continuity is Recession Proof
In an effort to get all viral with their ad campaign, Sony has launched a website for the “Institute for Human Continuity” to promote their film 2012. The site is filled with all sorts of fun content! Educate yourself on how you will die, enter the lottery to become one of the chosen few to continue human kind or just peruse  the gallery and and enjoy learning how the Earth will come to an end (and for those that are job hunting, they are hiring for their “Human Excellence Initiative.”)
