The people have spoken. Winners at the People’s Choice Awards included “Glee,” “Big Bang Theory,” “Supernatural,” Hugh Laurie, Johnny Depp, Sandra Bullock, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift and all those vampires in “Twilight,” “True Blood” and “The Vampire Diaries.”

“True Blood” is getting some love from the Producers Guild of America. The HBO vampire series is nominated in the TV drama category. The breakdown:
- Episodic Television-Drama: AMC’s “Breaking Bad,” Showtime’s “Dexter,” ABC’s “Lost,” AMC’s “Mad Men” and HBO’s “True Blood.”
- Episodic Television-Comedy: NBC’s “30 Rock,” Showtime’s “Californication,” HBO’s Entourage,” NBC’s “The Office” and Showtime’s “Weeds.”
- Non-Fiction Television: CBS’ “60 Minutes,” Discovery Channel’s “Deadliest Catch,” A&E TV’s “Intervention,” Bravo TV’s “Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D List” and Showtime’s “This American Life.”
- Live Entertainment and Competition Television: CBS’ “The Amazing Race,” Fox’s “American Idol,” Comedy Central’s “The Colbert Report,” Lifetime’s “Project Runway” and Bravo TV’s “Top Chef.”
- The nominees for theatrical motion picture and long-form television categories will be announced Jan. 5. The honors will be presented at the PGA Awards ceremony on Jan. 24 at the Hollywood Palladium.
Scream For ‘True Blood,’ ‘Twilight’

“True Blood” and “Twilight” were the big winners as Spike TV‘s “Scream 2009” handed out its awards Saturday night in Los Angeles. Scream honors the best in sci-fi, horror, fantasy and comic-inspired movies and TV shows. Keith Richards, George Romero and Stan Lee were also honored. “Scream 2009″ will be edited into a two-hour special set to air on Oct. 27.
The winners:
- Most Anticipated Fantasy Film: Alice in Wonderland
- Best Sci-Fi Actress: Megan Fox, Transformers 2
- Breakout Performance, Female: Isabelle Lucas, Transformers 2
- Best Villain: Alexander Skarsgard, True Blood
- Breakout Performance, Male: Taylor Lautner, Twilight
- Best Comic Book Writer: Jeff Jones
- Best Comic Book Movie: Watchmen

Can “True Blood” get any better? Take a look: that’s Evan Rachel Wood who will debut as Queen Sophie-Ann on the Aug. 30 episode of the HBO vampire hit series. “Nobody’s ever entirely happy to see her,” series creator Alan Ball told EW. “She’s very powerful, capricious and most likely insane.”
