The people have spoken. Winners at the People’s Choice Awards included “Glee,” “Big Bang Theory,” “Supernatural,” Hugh Laurie, Johnny Depp, Sandra Bullock, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift and all those vampires in “Twilight,” “True Blood” and “The Vampire Diaries.”

“True Blood” is getting some love from the Producers Guild of America. The HBO vampire series is nominated in the TV drama category. The breakdown:
Episodic Television-Drama: AMC’s “Breaking Bad,” Showtime’s “Dexter,” ABC’s “Lost,” AMC’s “Mad Men” and HBO’s “True Blood.”

“True Blood” and “Twilight” were the big winners as Spike TV’s “Scream 2009” handed out its awards Saturday night in Los Angeles. Can “True Blood” get any better? Take a look: that’s Evan Rachel Wood who will debut as Queen Sophie-Ann on the Aug. 30 episode of the HBO vampire hit series. “Nobody’s ever entirely happy to see her,” series creator Alan Ball told EW. “She’s very powerful, capricious and most likely insane.”
