Mitch Albom has put together a terrific cast for the TV movie of his bestseller “Have a Little Faith,” which will air as a Hallmark Hall of Fame production before Christmas on its new ABC home.

Martin Landau will play Rabbi Albert Lewis, while Laurence Fishburne will play Pastor Henry Covington. Bradley Whitford will play Albom. Jon Avnet is the director.

Hallmark Hall of Fame, which was dropped by CBS after 16 years, has landed a new, multiyear deal with ABC beginning with the upcoming season. ABC will premiere the movies exclusively, with encore broadcasts coming a week later on Hallmark Channel.

Three things that may or may not happen, according to Web reports:

1. Britney Spears will play Varia, the lesbian stripper, in Quentin Tarantino’s remake of “Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill!.”
2. Johnny Depp will play the Mad Hatter in Tim Burton’s “Alice in Wonderland 3-D.”
3. Laurence Fishburne will replace William Petersen as the star of “CSI.”

One thing that will definitely happen:
Lauren Conrad will play herself on second-season finale of “Greek.”
