- DC Comics will launch a line of prequels to Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons‘ classic 1986 graphic novel Watchmen on June 6 with Before Watchmen: Minutemen #1 by Darwyn Cooke.
- Sara Underwood, co-host of G4 TV’s Attack of The Show is the winner of Esquire’s Hottest Woman contest. A No. 13 seed, Underwood defeated Kate Middleton in the finals fan voting.
- This year’s Peabody awards for television were handed out to Comedy Central’s The Colbert Report, IFC’s Portlandia, Showtime’s Homeland, the long-running quiz show Jeopardy! and NBC’s Parks and Recreation.

- John Grisham is going to write his first children’s book series. The first book in the series,Theodore Boone: Kid Lawyer, due May 25, 2010, is aimed at 8-12-year-olds.
- iTunes has sold its 10 billionth song.
- Howard Stern plans to stage a beauty pageant for the mistresses of Tiger Woods. Four of the alleged women reportedly have accepted.
