“Twilight” leads 2009 Teen Choice nominations with 12, including Choice Movie: Drama and Choice Movie: Romance. Teen Choice (Aug. 10, Fox) isn’t the Academy Awards for the younger generation. It spreads the wealth… there are seven movie genre categories (Comedy and Bromantic Comedy rate their own surfboards) and six TV genre categories. There are 75 awards in all, divided among movies, TV, music, sports and other, which includes Web Star, Red Carpet Icon (male and female), Celebrity Pet and Celebrity Baby. Teen Choice is current too with nominations for “Hangover,” “Glee” (which aired once) and the brand-new “Tonight Show With Conan O’Brien.”
