Those crafty casting directors just scooped themselves a chunk of the Gossip Girl fanbase. Blake Lively has officially been cast as Carol Ferris, the female lead opposite Ryan Reynolds in the upcoming Green Lantern movie.
Production is expected to begin in March with a release date set for June 17, 2011.
