Where are you right now?
I’m at my friend Melissa’s apartment in good ole’ Queens. There was a shooting outside the window last night. Some 19 year-old kid got shot in the head on the subway platform. Welcome to New York! Yay.
What is on your nightstand?
Gosh. Some Tylenol PM, a few scripts that I’m looking at to direct (none of which I think I will end up directing), a Diet Dr. Pepper - as I’m from Texas - I’m slightly addicted to the Pepper. My TV control and digital camera and phone charger. And some loose change, which usually ends up on the floor.
What’s your favorite snack food (not the healthy kind)?
I love Gummi Cola’s - they are these gummy bear things - shaped like Cola bottles, and they taste like…Dr. Pepper. Amazing!
What is your ringtone on your cell phone?
“Smile” by Lily Allen - she’s such a rebel. And she smiles when people are crying. Bitch! I love it.
How do you take your coffee?
Halle Berry (creamy)
What is your favorite new television show (if you’re on it, it doesn’t count)?
I love “Weeds”…but my very favorite show that I watch daily is PAULA DEEN’S HOME COOKING - she reminds me of my mom and I cook her good-ass food.

What should you be doing right now?
Other interviews that I have in my inbox for the film’s release. It’s hard to do them when I have to type because it gives me too much freedom. I like phone interviews because once I’ve said it - it’s done. No going back. It takes me forever to do the ones I have to type.

Eggs and toast. And those gummi colas, too!

Neither. They both hurt my joints.

Oh, vodka, weed, porn, reality tv, donuts, street food from the vendors.
