People have quite a lot of opinions about the Transformers movies. You cannot deny, however, that they are big, brassy, summer popcorn fun, and that requires a bombastic score for the franchise. Steve Jablonsky, who has composed scores for many a Michael Bay picture (including “Armageddon,” “Pearl Harbor” and “Bad Boys II”) has the grand, operatic style that pairs so well with larger-than-life action sequences.
His scores for all three Transformer films now have the full orchestral treatment care of London Music Works. These 16 tracks represent some of the best music from the films, and they are further elevated by haunting vocals and a relentless drive.
