West Coast cities dominate Wallethub’s Best Coffee Cities in America list.

Seattle, the birthplace of Starbucks, took top honors, followed by Portland, Oregon, San Francisco, New York City, Los Angeles and San Diego. Chicago, Denver, Boston and Washington, D.C., rounded out the top 10.

The list, released Tuesday for National Coffee Day, compiled scores for the United States’ 100 most-populated cities, judging on 14 metrics, from the number of adult coffee drinkers a city has, to the average price of a cappuccino and coffee shops per capita.
