The American people have spoken. After weeks of voting from a pool of 64 pop culture presidents, Martin Sheen, a.k.a. President Josiah Bartlet on The West Wing, is officially EW’s best pop culture president.

In this clip from EW: The Show, EW.com editor Christopher Rosen breaks down the presidential face-offs, revealing a surprising defeat headed into the final four:

One of the ones we were pretty surprised at was Harrison Ford from Air Force One defeating Bill Pullman from Independence Day, who, for my money, was probably the best pop culture president. You can’t beat his speech at all from that film.

Though Pullman didn’t crack the final four, Ford did, joining Sheen, Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Selina Meyer, Veep), and Michael Douglas (Andrew Shepherd, The American President). Sheen was the runaway winner with 51 percent of the votes, and Louis-Dreyfus was the runner-up with 27 percent. The rest of the votes were split between Ford, who received 14 percent of the votes, and Douglas, with 8 percent.
