“Short Change Hero” by the British band The Heavy — the theme song for Cinemax’s “Strike Back” — is one of our favorites. The tune also has been used in the film Faster; the TV shows The Vampire Diaries, The Listener (TV series), Suits and Killjoys; the ITV (TV network) documentary “Best of Enemies”; the trailer for Batman: Arkham City; and in the promos for the first season of Haven and second season of Longmire. Friday, “Short Change Hero” popped up on the opening scene of SyFy’s “The Killjoys,” a show that has a good ear for music. The song never gets old.

The Heavy is also known for “How You Like Me Now?,” another awesome piece which is the theme song of MLB Network’s “Intentional Talk,” a daily baseball addiction with Chris Rose and Kevin Millar. “How You Like Me Now?” has been featured in several television series: The Vampire Diaries, Entourage, Community, Rookie Blue White Collar. The Heavy performed the song as the encore of a memorable David Letterman show appearance, which can be found on YouTube.
