During Sunday’s Super Bowl, CBS premiered the first teaser for “Under the Dome,” a 13-episode summer series based on the Stephen King 2009 novel.

Even cooler: the launch of the UndertheDome.com Website, where you can see what your own house looks like trapped under the dome.

June 24 is the debut date for the series, which will be produced by Steven Spielberg and written by Brian K. Vaughan (Y: The Last Man, Lost). It was originally planned for Showtime, but the project bogged down and was moved to CBS.

The synopsis:

UNDER THE DOME is the story of a small New England town that is suddenly and inexplicably sealed off from the rest of the world by an enormous transparent dome.  The town’s inhabitants must deal with surviving the post-apocalyptic conditions while searching for answers to what this barrier is, where it came from and if and when it will go away.

Cast members who have been confirmed: Aisha Hinds (True Blood), Britt Robertson (Life Unexpected), Natalie Martinez (CSI: New York), Colin Ford (Supernatural), Jolene Purdy (Gigantic) and Nicholas Strong (Nashville).
