Billboard debuted a redesign that includes new content on newsstands Tuesday with Prince on the cover. Revamps of its websites are coming later this week, including new chart features.

Nice clean design, but we’re gonna miss the colored-in letters in the old logo, which lasted 46 years.

Billboard editorial director Bill Werde said in an editor’s letter in the new issue:

The music industry is a dynamic place, and this book will serve your information needs more than ever, going deeper into the trends, technologies and ideas shaping your decisions. If you don’t learn something that will help your business in every issue, we aren’t doing our jobs.”

Along with content upgrades and expansions, the magazine will offer an iPad edition with playable charts. The online charts will be upgraded to include the ability to share charts on Facebook or Twitter and to export them on streaming services Spotify or Rdio.
