Best Movie of Year? Will Oscar Voters Agree?
December 10th, 2012 | Posted by in FilmKathryn Bigelow’s Osama bin Laden manhunt docudrama “Zero Dark Thirty” has been piling up the awards in the past week. It was named best film of the year by the New York Film Critics Circle, the National Board of Review, the Boston Society of Film Critics and the New York Film Critics Online.
One exception: the Los Angeles Film Critics Association chose the French-language drama “Amour” was chosen as the year’s best film Sunday
Next up on Hollywood’s awards calendar are the Screen Actors Guild nominations Wednesday and Golden Globe nominations Thursday. Oscar nominations follow on Jan. 10.
