ABC’s “Nashville” is a great show with great music. The main characters – Rayna (Connie Britton), Juliette (Hayden Panetierre), Deacon (Charles Esten), Scarlett (Clare Bowen) and Gunnar (Sam Palladio) — have all shown off their singing skills. On Wednesday night’s third episode, viewers got an unexpected musical delight when Lennon and Maisy Stella, the sisters who play Rayna’s daughters, performed at a school talent show.

The girls — who did a cover of one of Juliette’s songs — were fantastic. Savvy music fans know all about Lennon (13) and Maisy (8). The Ontario-raised daughters of country music duo Marylynne and Brad Stella (the Stellas) are YouTube sensations. Their cover of Robyn’s pop hit “Call Your Girlfriend” — on which they make the beat through carefully choreographed hand movements and butter containers (inspired by the Swedish group Erato) — has netted 9.6 million views.

“Nashville” producers were so taken by their talent that they reconceived the TV sisters, who were originally written as 8 and 6 years old.

Hopefully, we will see and hear a lot more from these kids.
