I saw a clip of the newbies singing Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe” and they did an awesome job at it. While the song isn’t my favorite and the only reason why I know it is because it’s inescapable, they really showed a range of talent that echoed the seniors that have departed. Since this season promises to serve up more drama, I’ve already got my Hopper set to record the season just in case I won’t be home to catch some episodes. The real interest for me is what happens with Rachel and Finn. The word on the street is that Rachel meets a new guy, Brody, at her new place and that he is quite handsome. I’m sure that this will be the talk amongst my Dish co-workers that love drama just as much as the next person. The best part so far is Kate Hudson’s role as Cassandra July and I’m sure she will bring the house down with her season opening performance as Rachel’s teacher.
