Harry Potter did it. The Twilight Games did it. Now The Hunger Games is doing it. Splitting the final volume of its young adult novel series into two feature films. “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay” part one on Thanksgiving 2014 and part two on Thanksgiving 2015.

That leaves the question: where do you slice the story? EW is running a poll with three alternatives… and the current feeling is 1. Peeta is rescued (64.68 percent), 2. Katniss is shot (20.74), 3. District 13 is attacked (13.25).
