Winning isn’t everything. Dan and Jordan won The Amazing Race, but Jet and Cord, the lovable cowboys, were the story of Season 16. The cowboys crossed the finish line at Candlestick Park behind the devious Pious brothers, who grabbed the advantage when they cut in line at the airport ticket counter in Shanghai. Not fair! The cowboys should have tied them up to a pole and left them there but they had too much class. It was hard to root for Jordan, fanatical in his obsession to win the Race. Models Brent and Caite finished third and got a round of applause from everyone except for Brandy (Carol’s partner), who showed she was still bitter over being U-turned earlier in the competition. “You purposely whacked us,” she told Caite, the former South Carolina beauty queen. Cheaters… haters… but the cowboys won our hearts.
