Can’t wait to see Scarlett Johansson playing Black Widow, wearing that “incredibly tight” catsuit in “Iron Man 2.” But the most intriguing news about Scarlett is the prospect of her portraying Courtney Love in the upcoming Kurt Cobain biopic.

Johansson sounded up for the role in an interview with MTV News:

“I’m a big fan of Courtney’s, and I think she’s very, very talented. But I don’t know anything about the project. It definitely would be a challenge.”

Earlier in the week on The View, Love said she would like to see either Ryan Gosling or James McAvoy play Cobain. Love has long been campaigning for Gosling to play Cobain. As for McAvoy, Love said the Wanted star “looks like Edward Norton and Kurt had a baby.” Norton and Love were romantically linked for three years following Cobain’s death. Love previously squashed Internet rumors that Twilight’s Robert Pattinson was in line to portray Cobain, calling the idea “stupid,” adding, “That’s just so wrong.”
