Two-for-two. Jeff Bridges, Sandra Bullock, Christoph Waltz and Mo’Nique added Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday to the Golden Globes trophies they all previously won. That cements their favorites status for the Academy Awards. The Best Picture race, however, tightened up. “Inglorious Basterds” won the SAG award for best ensemble performance (captured by Oscar winner “Slumdog Millionaire” last year). Combined with “The Hurt Locker‘s” selection from the Producers Guild of America, Golden Globes winner “Avatar” may not be a sure thing at the Academy Awards.
