Will Ferrell is funny… but those laughs cost a lot. He’s Hollywood’s most overpaid star, according to an annual Forbes.com study that examined the average return of investment for each dollar spent on an actor’s salary. Forbes claims that for every dollar Ferrell was paid, the comedian’s films earned $3.29 — the lowest amount among Hollywood’s 100 biggest stars. Most of the blame can be placed on Ferrell’s summer bomb, Land of the Lost.
