David Letterman’s blackmail scandal, no surprise, is getting the “Law & Order” treatment. But that’s more. The planned episode will also target “The View.” Two-for-one. Josef Adalian reports in his TV MoJoe blog that the episode will revolve around a character named Vanessa Carville, who hosts a daily talk show with a panel of other women. Carville is fortyish, married with children but also a lesbian or bisexual. She fools around with her employees and attracts a blackmailer. So whom do we like for the lead role?
