The wait is over. The NFL opens tonight with the defending Super Bowl champion Pittsburgh Steelers hosting the Tennessee Titans (8:30 p.m., NBC). Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth, who replaces the retired John Madden, have the call. Tim McGraw and The Black Eyed Peas will perform with activities beginning at 4 p.m. (live TV on NBC and NFL Network from 8-8:30 p.m.) This year’s Super Bowl will be played in Miami on Feb. 7.
