Season 3 of “Mad Men” is about change, and that theme was evident in “Love Among The Ruins,” Sunday’s second episode. Change is coming to America in a big way during the pivotal year 1963, and it’s affecting the professional and personal lives of the characters in the absorbing AMC drama.
Don Draper contemplated the inevitability of change in a musing that belongs in everyone’s book of quotations.
“Let’s also say that change is neither good or bad. It simply is. It can be greeted with terror or joy. A tantrum that says, ‘I want it the way it was’ or a dance that says, ‘Look, it’s something new.’”
