It’s not a cute scene. You make plans to go out into the world, do things, be productive…but then you sit down for a little snack and pop in a TV show on DVD. You say to yourself, well maybe just one… Riiiiiight. Famous last words. Before you know it, you’re bleary-eyed, it’s 3 am and you’re on the 3rd season of some show you didn’t even know existed and fits into the category of brilliant but canceled.

JP was being very diligent last weekend with all the gift-guiding and decided to pop in a little 4400 while he worked. Well, that was the end of that. The four seasons of this very cool and somewhat underwatched show have some very cool “The Stand”-esque twists and turns going on. Even though the 4400 were sucked into space and came back with weird abilities, the men on the show always maintain their good looks. So, basically it’s a good show for sci-fi geeks and 14 year-old girls.

The dark Linda Hamilton / Ron Perlman TV series from 1987. Now the whole set can be yours! This was a very romantic (and macabre) take on the tale, but still a very cool concept with the beauty in a modern-day metropolis.
