John Madden is taking the weekend off — for the first time in 28 TV football weekends. The legendary NFL analyst’s streak of 476 consecutive regular-season games will come to an end on Sunday night. Cris Collinsworth will replace Madden in the NBC booth with Al Michaels for the Seahawks-Bucs game in Tampa Bay. Madden, who is afraid to fly, was offered a rest week by his bosses with the schedule calling for three weeks of alternate-coast games. Madden did games in Jacksonville and San Diego the previous two weeks.
