Snarky remarks and pop culture references will not go to far to help House mend his relationship with Wilson this season. There is some serious tension between the two in the first two episodes (and if you don’t know why shame on you) and it doesn’t look like there will be any signs of letting up in the near future. With Wilson leaving the hospital, House finds a friend in a private investigator he hires, (Michael Weston - crazy guy from ‘Six Feet Under’) to attend to his growing curiosity. You may remember reading the rumors earlier that Weston will be getting his own spin off.

Clearly the series has made a turn towards focusing less on the medicine and more on the characters. The season premier itself has some remarkable performances by Hugh and the rest of the gang. Check out some first look clips after the jump and don’t forget to tune in tonight at 8PM, FOX.
