Britney Spears will kick off the MTV Video Music Awards again on Sunday night, but don’t worry, she won’t be performing. MTV Networks Music Group President Van Toffler told the Associated Press, it’ll be something “fun and unexpected.” Bring back the snake, or kiss Sarah Palin, anything to make us forget last year’s embarrassing performance of “Gimme More.”
So far, the confirmed performers for Sunday’s show include the Jonas Brothers, Lil Wayne, Rihanna, T.I. and Kid Rock. Toffler also raised the possibility of Michael Jackson appearing.
