The unlikely duo of Alicia Keys (smooth and sophisticated) and Jack White (rough and earthy) have recorded the theme song for the new James Bond soundtrack, out Oct. 28. “Another Way to Die,” the song for “Quantum of Solace,” marks the first duet in a Bond movie. Black plays the drums on the song, which he also wrote. Amy Winehouse was reportedly the first choice for the song but she opted out (word is she didn’t like the song). Beyonce, Leona Lewis, Duffy and Annie Lennox were reportedly other contenders. I’ll take Alicia… she can sing the stuffings out of any song.
