You wouldn’t think that Sonic Youth and Starbucks go together, but the famous alternative rock band has crafted a limited-edition compilation CD of its outsider music for the coffee crowd. “Hits Are For Squares” will be available in selected Starbucks and online on June 10. The songs were handpicked by musicians and other celebs. Participants have also written about their selections for the liner notes.
