There was never any doubt. Kristi Yamaguchi was the best dancer by far on Season 6 of “Dancing With The Stars.” She showed it from the first show through the finals when she and her partner Mark Ballas posted an unprecedented trio of perfect scores from the judges. But being the best dancer is not always good enough in a popularity contest controlled by women who swoon over pretty boy hunks who take their shirts off. Just ask Melanie Brown who was robbed in Season 5, beaten by inferior but charismatic rival Helio Castroneves. Thank God, the fans got it right this time.
