Time named author Stephanie Meyer to its list of the 100 Most Influential People In The World this week. That’s after calling her “a new J.K. Rowling” in a recent article. Meyer, a 34-year-old Mormon mom, is big with 12-year-old girls, who have devoured the “Twilight” vampire love saga series. “Twilight” will soon be a movie and the trailer is up on YouTube. Looks good. But Meyer has also just released “The Host,” a science fiction novel (with an eye-opening cover) aimed at adults. She says the story may be the first love triangle that involves only two bodies. I’m putting it on my summer reading list.
