This Thursday night, the all African-American production of the classic “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” will open on Broadway. Among it’s dream cast, you’ve got James Earl Jones as Big Daddy, Phylicia Rashad as Big Mama, Terrence Howard as Brick and Anika Noni Rose as Maggie. It’s directed by Debbie Allen (you think she’ll throw a dance number in there?) and has gotten some great word-of-mouth, and an extension to boot. Could be fierce, y’all.
