Don’t expect Jay Leno to fade away after he hands “The Tonight Show” over to Conan O’Brien in 2009. The “New York Times” reports that ABC, Fox and Sony Pictures Television are all after Leno for a new late-night gig. Leno, who took over “The Tonight Show” in 1992 after Johnny Carson retired, is the ratings king of late night. That’s gold to a TV network.
