Evidently, Even Cavemen Preferred Blondes. That’s the theadline of an ABC News story that appeared on the wire on Sunday. The piece is a feature on “Beauty and the Blonde: An Exploration of American Art and Popular Culture,” which has been on display at the Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum at Washington University in St. Louis. Kemper says it’s the first museum show “to investigate the strategic use of the blonde in contemporary art.” There is a virtual slideshow on the museum’s website. Natural blondes, by the way, make up just two percent of the world population.
