FOX has announced at their TCA press tour that season seven of “24” will feature Cherry Jones as the President of the United States. Jones (who was in “Doubt” on Broadway and just the bees knees in “Cradle Will Rock”) now has the task of being the high-profile female president on one of primetime’s hottest shows – and in an election season to boot.
