Leave it to JJ Abrams to baffle and entice his audience with viral marketing. A new video for the Lost Dharma Station 6, “the orchid” has leaked onto youtube. In typical Dharma form, information is spliced out being filled with frames of people riding bikes, and a flash frame of a title card reading
God Loves you as He loved Jacob.” There is also some business with explosive bunnies going on.

Ben Barnes, who is playing Prince Caspian in the second Narnia film (coming out next May) chats up the film in this new blog / teaser. I may be undercaffeinated, but I don’t know that everything he says makes sense… Anyways, here’s a short glimpse, but a glimpse nonetheless at the new film.

hiltonburger It Aint Over Til Paris Hilton SingsParis Hilton (“House of Wax”, “One Night in Paris”) has just landed a role in Darren Lynn Bousman’s (“Saw” Franchise), “Repo! The Genetic Opera.” Hilton apparently won the role by being the best singer they auditioned. Really? Because I’m pretty sure there are about 4,000 American Idol contestants that would have an equally good chance of getting it.

Hilton will sing in a futuristic thriller framed around musical numbers that range from opera to rock. The setting is 2056, when a plague nearly destroys the human race and survival is dependent upon being able to finance a pricey organ transplant.

Hilton plays a daughter of the organ transplant magnate (Sorvino) who is the villain of the piece.

The villain eh? Perhaps its the way her eyes illuminate like perfect balls of fire in night vision that gave her the edge.

fallon Jimmy Fallon Might Be Getting WorkAs most of you know by now, Conan will be replacing Leno in ’09, leaving an open host spot for “Late Night.” As if Carson Daly wasn’t already sad enough, It seems the producers over at NBC are looking to fill the void with the same star power that disappointed audiences everywhere with “Taxi.” The late night crowd and 15 year old girls alike will be thrilled to hear that Jimmy Fallon may once again grace the camera doing Dave Mathew’s music parodies and laughing at his own jokes.

Now the JoyHog staffers have this obsessive need to check the unsigned kids on MySpace Music for the next big thing. As of now, it’s OneRepublic. You dig?
