I love Lindsey Lohan. I don’t care what you say. The more bad press she gets, the more I adore her. I can’t explain it. Probably has something to do with that beauty mark on her lip. But even as a Lohan fan, I was dreading the hour and half of my life I would loose as I watched my DVD player suck in “Just My Luck.” Lohan plays a young professional at a PR firm with her own workstation and a view of midtown Manhattan. Huh? Her two friends, Dana and Maggie played by Bree Turner and Samaire Armstrong work with her, as the mail girl and intern, respectively. The story follows the unreasonably lucky Lohan as she moves from one great moment to the next. At the other end is Jake, played by Chris Pine, the “unluckiest” guy in New York. Blah, blah, blah. Their paths cross and fortunes change in a masked moment of passion. The next 50 minutes were kind of a blur – but I remember the fade to black at the end. The moral of the story: unless you have pigtails and braces, don’t waste your time.
